Larry Luteran

Larry Luteran is Senior Vice President – Group Sales and Industry Relations for Hilton Worldwide. Prior to that role he was Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company’s Southeast and South Central regions where he had direct oversight for all Sales and Marketing operations in the region.
Luteran currently oversees the group sales operation of Hilton Worldwide Sales in the Americas, Canada, Mexico, and South America. He also serves as Hilton’s primary contact for all customer industry organizations, oversees the Hilton Special Events department, manages sales contracting and policy, conflict resolution, and tradeshow marketing for the company.
He served as the Chairman of the International Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International (MPI) in 2008/2009 and now serves MPI as Immediate Past Chair on the Executive Committee of the International Board of Directors. He is the Co-Chair of the recently formed United States Travel Association Meetings, Incentives, and Tradeshow Council. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is an ASAE and the Center for Association Leadership Fellow. He earned ASAE’s Academy of Leaders Award in 2009, which is their top honor for industry suppliers recognizing exemplary service to the Association community. His industry resume also includes service on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Business Travel Management (IBTM).
Luteran represents all 10 Brands within the Hilton Family of Hotels including Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, the Waldorf Astoria Collection, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Home 2 Suites by Hilton, and Conrad.
