Hello, I’m Debbie Borel-Ploeger My introduction to the tourism business began in 1990 when I began working for the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau in various capacities of sales and upper management over a 12-year span. Coming from a background in radio-television production, I was surprised by how easy it was to transition to a new career and draw upon some of my previous creative talents. Since joining the Experient Sales Network in March of 2003, those same creative juices are tapped into from time to time when consulting with my clients, colleagues and industry partners. It's hard to imagine another career that could be as rewarding both personally and professionally.

Whether you are interested in an "ala carte" menu or "bundling" of services, Experient has the solutions, the buying power and the industry relationships that will inevitably help you and your organization save time and money. One of my most popular and utilized services is site research and contract negotiations (sourcing) and is often times provided at no cost to my clients through hotel commissions. It's more involved than just acting as a “search engine.”  Quite frankly, you can do that yourself. It's about having the unique capability of benchmarking rates, concessions, contract terms and more against our proprietary database of hotel contracts and leveraging your buying power with more than 1000 other Experient clients. I'm more than just another vender or supplier... I'm an extension of your staff.
