Andy Smith, Vice President, Independent Agent Channel

Andy has worked for Experient since 2001 mentoring many of our field based National Account Managers. In 2006, he accepted the opportunity to lead the Experient Sales Network comprised of 50+ professionals who represent a vast collection of event industry expertise. His greatest professional passion is helping our representatives nurture their entrepreneurial talents while effectively tapping into the massive support of our 650+ meeting and event professionals on staff for their customers benefit. This powerful combination has become the optimum solution for hundreds of satisfied customers.

Prior to joining Experient, Andy was with the Bellwether Group, which was acquired by Experient. With over twenty-five years experience in the hospitality industry, Andy worked in the retail travel agency sector holding positions from Senior Sales Manager for Wright Travel (one of the 50 largest travel agencies nationally), to Vice President of Sales for Navigant International (the third largest travel agency nationally). Prior to his involvement with travel agencies, he spent most of the 1980s managing an average of 75 corporate and leisure groups annually holding events in Nashville, Memphis and the Smoky Mountains.
