Hello, I’m Jim Talcott I joined Experient in February of 2008. I am based in Connecticut, but I also support new business development nationally. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, I began my professional career in newspaper advertising. I then made the transition to event marketing and spent the next 11 years working for several tradeshow and conference management companies, including Reed Exhibitions where I was a group sales director. I have worked on a range of events from conferences for 200 healthcare executives to tradeshows for 20,000 restaurateurs. I love the meetings and events business because I believe there is no more valuable form of communication than face-to-face interaction whether for business, education, or fellowship.
