| Joan joined the Experient Sales Network in September of 2006, bringing with her over 20 years in the meetings industry. Joan’s primary focus will be the metropolitan Washington, DC area, but will also be supporting new client development efforts nationwide.
Before joining Experient, Joan worked as a Regional Director with HelmsBriscoe where she was inducted into the President’s Club four times. Joan previously held meeting planning positions at National Industries for the Blind, National Governors’ Association and MCI Communications.
Joan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She has been an active member of the Association of Meeting Professionals (AMPs) for over nine years, where she has previously served as co-chair of the Community Services Committee and currently serves as a member of the Board. She was recently the recipient of the AMPs Outstanding Meeting Professional Award for 2005-2006.
Joan resides in Alexandria, VA with her husband, Jeff.
