This position will be primarily responsible for organizing and managing meeting details with clients but will also be called upon for consulting with clients to improve meeting experiences, recommending and managing supplier products and services and providing the onsite leadership and support to meetings.  This position requires three to five years experience as a senior meeting planning for either a Government Agency or Government Contractor.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience, CMP or CGMP, experience planning with senior DoD leadership, must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and strong written communication skills. Preshow planning requires candidate to coordinate with other sales staff prior to shows and events to successfully strategize for onsite lead retrieval revenue generation. Post show requirements include creating and analyzing reports and data for clients as well as for internal requirements. In addition, candidate may assist with sales telemarketing campaigns and contact clients regarding purchasing the Experient lead retrieval products and services.

 Minimum Skills and Qualifications: BA/BS degree with a concentration in business preferred; or equivalent professional experience in a sales environment. Three or more years experience with direct sales and/or onsite tradeshow (lead retrieval) experience. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines. Ability to travel frequently (55-60%) Strong verbal and written communications skills with an emphasis on persuasiveness. Technical proficiency with MS Office.
