Viva Las Vegas! Viva Experient!
Experient Opens Las Vegas Operations Center
Twinsburg, OH Experient, the source for integrated meeting and event solutions, celebrated the opening of their new operations center in Las Vegas on June 19. This is Experient’s 10th US location.
“Las Vegas is one of the premier event destinations in the United States with tremendous hotel and convention facilities. It is an important market for Experient and for our clients and it plays an important role in our future growth plans. It just made business sense for us to have a permanent presence in the city,” says Experient CEO Ed Shartar. “By joining the city’s business community with a permanent, staffed operations center and warehouse, we are positioned to bring superior service and efficiencies to our customers that have business in Las Vegas and on the west coast.”
Experient’s mission is to help bring people together to drive business. In 2006 the company provided services to more than 120 Las Vegas events including the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, International CES, and locally-based World Market Center’s January and July Markets. These services impacted more than 560,000 attendees. With Las Vegas-based events consuming more than 500,000 hotel room nights currently on Experient’s event calendar, the new operations center will bring efficiencies in onsite personnel staffing, shipping, equipment warehousing, and logistics as well as serving as a coordination point for west-coast events served by Experient. The new Las Vegas location will also help Experient deepen and expand supplier relationships and partnerships for mutually beneficial business development efforts.
Nick Stock, manager, onsite operations, will lead the operations team and Robert Colvin, CEM, strategic account manager, will represent sales and account management.
The grand opening of the Las Vegas Operations Center of Experient, 6672 Spencer Street, Suite 300, Las Vegas, NV 89119, took place June 19 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m with a ribbon cutting at 4:30 pm.

The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) to offer RFID-based Booth Traffic Analytics at Annual Meeting
Oak Brook, IL - Two industry leaders in marketing intelligence solutions, Alliance Tech and Experient have partnered to provide the industry's preeminent booth traffic reporting and analysis solution for RSNA exhibitors at the RSNA Annual Meeting, November 25 - 30, 2007 in Chicago. Additionally, a pilot group of exhibitors will be offered the ability to capture booth traffic and visitor details, segmented by demographics, for each product area tracked.
"RSNA is excited to offer RFID technology as it will provide us with an opportunity to better understand our attendees' needs and preferences. And it will offer our exhibitors a means to increase the value of their participation in our event," says Steve Drew, Assistant Executive Director, RSNA.
RFID allows for an accurate and non-invasive way of providing attendance tracking. The solution will supply RSNA and exhibitors with the ability to understand their attendees' interests and preferences through accurate, web based reports. The initial offering will allow exhibitors to capture attendance and traffic pattern data by meaningful demographics such as job function, geography, and organization.
"Experient is thrilled to leverage cutting edge RFID technology to provide attendee metrics. In previous years, temp staff was used to scan attendees in and out of entrances causing traffic flow issues. RFID provides increased accuracy while removing entrance bottlenecks," explains Bob Lucke, Executive Vice President Product Management, Experient.
"With this innovative solution, exhibitors are able to increase their return on investment by gaining valuable insight otherwise unattainable. Our reporting engine provides exhibitors the ability to analyze visitor traffic in their booths with product area drill downs to derive a more accurate score of a visitor's buy potential," says Art Borrego, CEO, Alliance Tech.
RSNA 2007 Exhibitors interested in learning more about the pilot program should contact Roger Lewis, Vice President of Sales at Alliance Tech, roger.lewis@alliancetech.com.
