Experient Names Senior Vice Presidents and Vice President

Aligns Sales Team to Service Customers at Higher Level

Twinsburg, OH – Experient, the source for integrated meeting and event solutions, has named Teri Tonioli, CMP, and Ian Twentey as senior vice presidents, strategic account management. Tonioli will lead the Experient strategic account teams in the Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, St. Louis, Denver and Twinsburg offices. Twentey will the lead teams in the company’s Washington, DC, Frederick and Las Vegas offices.

“These well-deserved promotions will place great focus right where it is needed to better fulfill the needs of our customers,” says Brad Weaber, Experient chief customer officer and executive vice president. “Teri and Ian are both experienced and excellent leaders. They always deliver fantastic results on their projects and will, no doubt, produce nothing but the best in their new roles.”

Also taking on a new leadership role at Experient is Debbi Beldon, CMP, who has been promoted to vice president, leading the sales and account management teams in the Experient Denver and Twinsburg offices.

Tonioli has been with Experient for 20 years, after experience as the convention service manager at Adam’s Mark hotel in St. Louis. She began as a meeting and event manager in 1988, transitioned to an account manager and helped open the Experient St. Louis office in 1990 then transferred to the Chicago office in 2000 and oversaw the sales and account management teams in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and Twinsburg. She is an active member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the National Business Travel Association (NBTA).

Twentey has more than 15 years of sales and account management experience at Experient and most recently was responsible for the sales and account management teams in Frederick and Washington, DC. He is involved with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) as well as PCMA, MPI and ASAE.

Beldon has been with Experient 8 years where she began as an account manager in the Denver office, was promoted to senior account manager in 2004, became director of strategic account management in 2006 and assumed her latest role this month. Beldon began her career in the industry as sales manager for the Summerfield Suites Hotel chain and has had sales and marketing positions with Marriott Residence Inn and Inverness Hotel & Golf Club. She is an active member of PCMA.
