College of American Pathologists Re-signs with Experient

Twinsburg, OHThe College of American Pathologists (CAP) has signed a new contract with Experient, the source for integrated meeting and event solutions, for registration, housing and lead retrieval services at the annual CAP meeting, CAP ’09 - THE Pathologists’ Meeting™. Experient will use the proprietary Experient EventXL™ registration and housing technology platform to service the annual CAP meetings in 2009, 2010 and 2011. CAP worked with Experient from 2003 through 2005 before signing an agreement with another provider, but they have now returned to Experient.

“Experient has demonstrated that they have the best registration and housing technology in the industry,” says Samara Lingafelter, CMP, senior project, annual meeting and exhibit manager at CAP. “We decided to come back to Experient because we always had a strong relationship with them and their recent registration and housing technology upgrades made it clear that they were the provider who could handle our event most efficiently and effectively.”

CAP approached Experient again in August 2008 to handle registration and housing at The Pathologists’ Meeting with the Experient EventXL software system. “CAP had a good relationship with our account management team and knew our customer service was top-notch and we are looking forward to working with CAP again,” says Robin Murphy, Experient strategic sales executive.

The CAP annual meeting has an attendance of more than 2,000. Experient will work with CAP to cover its unique lead retrieval and registration and housing needs through the contract period. The College of American Pathologists is a medical society serving more than 17,000 physician members and the laboratory community throughout the world. It is the world’s largest association composed exclusively of board certified pathologists and is widely considered the leader in laboratory quality assurance. The College is an advocate for high-quality and cost-effective medical care.  For more information on the CAP visit www.cap.org.
