Experient Adds John Hyland to Strategic Sales, Association Market
TWINSBURG, OH –Experient, the source for integrated meeting and event solutions, announces the addition of John Hyland as strategic sales executive, association markets. His focus will be association client acquisition for Experient’s Event Management division.
Hyland brings with him more than 29 years’ industry experience. He comes to Experient from the Greater Houston CVB’s D.C. office where he was managing director, eastern region. Previously, John was with Hyatt Hotels for 25 years and most recently served as the director of sales and marketing of Hyatt’s Washington, D.C. national sales office.
“John is an icon in the Washington, D.C. association community, and his knowledge and experience will help us open more doors and better provide strategic solutions to the association event market segment,” said Bill Reed, FASAE, CMP, Experient senior vice president, strategic sales. “We are excited to be working with him and look forward to building more lasting client relationships.”
Hyland is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI) as well as a member and Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). He is based out of Experient’s Washington, D.C. office.
