Being Green Can Be Easy…
Greening Tips From Experient

Phantom Load

Phantom load refers to the energy used by appliances and electronics when they are plugged in. They don’t even have to be on – most appliances that have a clock or use a remote of any type use energy when not even in actual use. This could average up to 40% of all the electricity that is used to power your TVs, stereos, DVD players, etc. even when they are not on. Don’t just turn it off – unplug it or snap it off at the surge protector or power strip.

This green tip was brought to you by: http://www.idealbite.com/ Follow this link to receive more information on the Phantom Load: http://www.idealbite.com/tiplibrary/archives/phantom_loads/.

“Thumbs Up”

Follow the link below to read up on what you can do to avoid getting it: http://www.apta.org/BlackberryThumb
